As a proudly 100% New Zealand owned and operated business, Foodstuffs is always keen to give something back to the community that supports us.
That’s why for the last 6 years Foodstuffs has thrown its weight behind the Grocery Charity Ball, because we know that it is an event dedicated to helping others less fortunate.
This year, we are thrilled that the trust has selected The Melanoma Foundation to be the beneficiary for the 2010 ball and I would encourage everyone in the grocery industry to attend and enjoy this marvellous fundraiser.

"The Grocery Charity Ball just seems to get better and better. I thought last year’s was great, and I’m wondering how it’s going to be topped this year. The food, the entertainment, the company of our colleagues from the grocery industry, and the charitable cause which I know the Trustees take great pains to select, all make for a fabulous evening.
This year’s beneficiary – the Melanoma Foundation – is a great choice. As Kiwis, we need to be particularly conscious of the dangers of Melanoma. It’s an easy decision for us here at Progressive to throw our support behind the occasion. "
Peter Smith, Managing Director, Progressive Enterprises Ltd.
